Substance Use Disorder Minor

Minor Requirements

A minor in substance use disorder consists of 18 semester hours, including:

ADDC 100	Alcohol and Other Drugs: The Fundamentals	3
ADDC 200	Approaches to Addiction Treatment	3
ADDC 300	Theory and Practice of Individual and Group Counseling	3
ADDC 400	Professional Ethics and Evaluation	3

The student must also select two of the following courses:

EDUC 151	Cultural Perspectives	3
PHAR 380	Introductory Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry	3
PHIL 221	Health Care Ethics	3
PSYC 233	Abnormal Psychology	3
PSYC 240	Social Psychology	3
SOCI 230	Sociology of the Family	3
SOWK 101	Introduction to Social Work	3
