Minor Requirements
A minor in history consists of:

| HIST 152 | Global History, 1780 to the Present | 3 |
| Six elective hours in history | |

| HIST 220 | European Civilization from 476-1648 | 3 |
| and | |
| HIST 221 | European Civilization since 1648 | 3 |
| or | |
| HIST 110 | History of the United States to 1865 | 3 |
| and | |
| HIST 111 | History of the United States since 1865 | 3 |
The faculty recommends that students take elective courses in economics, geography, history, political science, and sociology.
