PHAS 503 Information Literacy and Communication

This course lays the foundation for supervised student research by developing competence with selecting, critically evaluating and utilizing pertinent information sources and the development of writing skills. Research design and methodology, basic data analysis and critical analysis of literature will be explored. The course culminates in a submission of a research proposal, including IRB documentation, if appropriate.
