PHAS 506 Physician Assistant Professional Issues

The PA profession, historical development, culture and current trends are investigated throughout this course through lectures and discussion. Physician assistant certification, licensure, credentialing, practice laws and regulations are reviewed. Individual presentations concerning system-based practice help further explore the specialties of physician assistants.
