BIOL 510 Introduction to Bioinformatics

An introduction to the theory and practice of bioinformatics and computational biology. General topics include database searching, computer programming, analysis of sequence data, phylogenetics, protein structure and prediction, gene prediction and regulation, genomics, proteomics, genetic linkage and association, microarray analysis, and RNA structure and prediction.
