Student Organization Leadership

Any student wishing to serve as an officer in a UF recognized student organization must maintain a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 for the duration of their time in office.

If an elected officer’s cumulative G.P.A. falls below 2.5 during the course of his/her term, the student organization must select a replacement.

Students with less than a 2.5 cumulative G.P.A. may not be nominated for or elected to an officer position.

In cases where a student in his/her first semester at UF wishes to be nominated for or elected as an officer, they must have had a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 in high school (for entering freshmen) or a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 at the last University they attended or graduated from (for transfer and graduate students).
