EDCI 553 Curriculum Design and Methods of Teaching for Adolescent/Young Adult and Multi-Age
Preservice teachers will select appropriate lesson design, materials and activities based on various learning theories to best meet student needs and the requirements of the curriculum. Preservice teachers will incorporate teacher-centered and student-centered instructional strategies for a wide range of content-related objectives and performance standards. Preservice teachers will apply knowledge of researching in planning for the diverse needs of P-12 students and encourage student exploration.
