PHAR 560 Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and Therapeutics of Neurologic and Psychiatric Disorders

This course prepares the student to assess and manage the drug therapy of diseases of the peripheral and central nervous system, including psychiatric disorders. The course is taught in an interactive style and integrates pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, pathophysiology and therapeutics. Over-the-counter and herbal therapies are specifically included.
