PHTH 546 Foundations of Evidence-Based Practice

This lecture course is an introduction to the research process. Areas to be addressed include information searching, analysis of research literature, epidemiology, hypotheses, research design and an introduction to measurement theory. It also focuses on statistical analyses and composition of components in the research process central to case report or faculty-directed research project. Students will select an area of research interest/topic.
