PHTH 553 Introduction to Physical Therapy Practice

This course introduces the practice of physical therapy. It includes an introduction to healthcare delivery systems, roles of health professionals, disability, professional behaviors and ethical principles as well as a study of the verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills necessary for successful practice.
