Minors
A minor is a secondary course of study that complements the major course of study or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) curriculum and the General Education requirements. This secondary course of study enables students to achieve familiarity with a field related to the major or PharmD; to cultivate interest distinct from the major area of study or PharmD curriculum; and/or, to broaden understanding of a subject or field beyond the major or PharmD curriculum related to personal and/or career-based interests. A minor should add value to a student's course of study. Minor areas of concentration are available in some disciplines. Minors consist of not less than 15 semester hours and not more than 24 semester hours of course work. Specific requirements are stated within the course catalog. At least nine hours of the minor must be taken at The University of Findlay. Students may minor in:
