Future Oiler Registration and Orientation

Full-time, first-time freshmen entering the University are required to attend a one-day registration program. This event provides the student the opportunity to meet with faculty advisers and to become officially registered for fall classes. The student will gain valuable information, participate in collaborating activities, and meet other future Oilers. An optional campus tour will be provided. The student will leave campus having built relationships with faculty, staff, future Oilers, and student leaders who will support the student on his/her Oiler journey.

Orientation is a required four-day program which occurs prior to the beginning of classes. It serves as an introduction to college life and provides the student with an overview of programs and services that are available. During Orientation, new students, along with faculty and staff of The University of Findlay, volunteer at many local non-profit agencies, churches, and schools. The Orientation Service Project introduces all first-year students to the community while meeting the local community's needs at the same time.
