ART 229 Painting

This course presents the fundamentals of painting through analysis of historical and contemporary works. Coursework focuses on experimentation with a variety of painting processes and the development of perceptual awareness. Students learn various strategies for visual analysis. This course is open to non-art majors as an initial experience in art.
