BIOL 420 Advanced Techniques in Cellular and Molecular Biology
This course will focus on the techniques used in modern molecular biology and biochemistry. Students will study the growth dynamics of mammalian cells in culture. Students will study the isolation and detection of proteins using PAGE, enhanced chemilumiscence and fluorescence. Students will work in teams to design a molecular study, analyze data, and present their findings and conclusions.
