ESOH 205 OSHA Practice and Standards
This course is a study of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and its standards, specifically, the 29 Code of Federal Regulation PART 1903 Inspections, Citations, and Proposed Penalties; PART 1904 Recording and Reporting Occupational Injuries and Illness and; PART 1910 Occupational Safety and Health Standards. The course will further address the roles of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and consensus organizations in the creation of workplace standards of practice. The course does satisfy the requirements for the OSHA Outreach Training Programs for General Industry, often referred to as the OSHA 30-hour course.
