GERN 210 Diversity and Aging
Diversity and Aging is the study of theory, research, and application of issues related to the diverse population of older adults in the United States, and the influence that this diversity has on the lived experience of aging individuals through a multidisciplinary lens. In this course, diversity is construed broadly to incorporate race, ethnicity, gender identity and sexual orientation, immigration status, and ability, as well as how those identities interact (intersectionality).
