HCMG 420 Healthcare Finance

This course covers the role of finance in health services organization, healthcare financial regulations, alternative forms of healthcare organizations, managed care and alternative reimbursement methods, medical coding, and healthcare reform. Students develop an understanding of the financial side of healthcare organizations and how to use financial theories to run a healthcare unit successfully.
