HNRS 495 Honors Thesis

The Honors Thesis represents the culmination and integration of what students have learned during their undergraduate education. As an independent study, the Honors Thesis will give students the opportunity to pursue and explore in detail a topic of interest in their major field under the supervision of a faculty adviser. It is strongly recommended that the student complete the Honors Thesis one semester prior to graduation. The best preparation for the Honors Thesis is solid grounding in the major field and familiarity with the research approaches of the discipline. This course is repeatable for a maximum number of four credit hours. This course will be graded S/U. Topics may include, but are not limited to, animal science, art, biology, chemistry, forensics, health professions, humanities, political science, psychology, pharmacy, and/or social sciences research.
