MATH 221 Integrated Statistical Analysis
This is a one-semester course designed to give the student an understanding of basic methods of statistical analysis, as well as the means to utilize those methods in a scientific setting. Students will collect, summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from research data. Topics will include various types of distributions of data, comparisons of samples, comparisons of categorical data, confidence intervals, and some of the techniques of data analysis: hypothesis testing, regression, ANOVA, chi square, and parametric and non-parametric.
