MATH 302 Number Theory with an Introduction to Cryptography
This course offers an introduction to number theory with excursions into mathematical cryptography. Topics include prime numbers, modular arithmetic, division algorithm, Euler’s theorem, primitive roots, quadratic residues and quadratic reciprocity, and encryption.
