PHAR 392 Introduction to Pharmacy Practice Experience II

Students involved in experiential education are engaged in structured, practice-related activities where knowledge gained from didactic education is coupled with a professional attitude and skills training resulting in the development of an entry-level pharmacist. This course is designed to provide students with introductory experiences in community pharmacy settings. Students will be expected to observe and participate in the dispensing aspects of pharmacy. Students will be required to obtain at least one third of the total introductory pharmacy practice experiential hours stipulated by the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education during their first professional year.
