PHYS 360 Biophysics
This course explores phenomena at the intersection of physics, biology, and chemistry. Students will enhance and develop their understanding of biological functions within the physical contexts of forces, energy, temperature, thermodynamics, viscosity, diffusion, pressure, and charge. Specific topics in biophysics will be explored and may include molecular motors, macromolecular structures and folding, ion pumps, action potentials and nerve impulses, and other topics of biophysical relevance.
