SCON 210 Principles of Personal Training

This course is designed to establish a foundation of the principles and guidelines for personal training. The aim is to apply the principles of functional anatomy and basic exercise science to the general populations, wherein the students will learn and practice the skills for safe client assessment, program design, motivation, education, and legal parameters of the personal training industry. The emphasis is on one-on-one trainer/client interaction; the skills of which can be applied to a variety of exercise settings.
