THEA 190 Acting for Healthcare Simulation

This course introduces students to the tenants of acting for healthcare simulation experiences. Simulated/standardized patients are individuals that portray various medical conditions to provide experiential-learning opportunities for healthcare students. In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of physical, emotional, and verbal expression along with improvisation, communication, and feedback techniques to effectively portray the role of a standardized/simulated patient.
