THEA 323 Theatre History and Literature-18th Century to Today

This course covers the integration of dramatic literature and theatre history as well as aspects of history, art, architecture, and philosophy as they influence the world of theatre from the 18th century to today. Students will read representative works and important theatre criticism of the period. One focus of the course is to place theatrical works into societal context.
