Counseling Services
The University of Findlay’s Office of Counseling Services offers professional counseling for most personal, social, or emotional issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, family issues, homesickness, relationships, eating concerns, substance use, anger, trauma, and self-esteem. Counseling Services also provides outreach, education, and consultation to faculty, staff, and students. It is our guiding philosophy that all persons be accepted for who they are and be challenged to reach their potential for personal growth in an open, supportive atmosphere in which individuals feel free to express feelings and communicate problems. UF Counseling Services is provided by professionals licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, and as such adheres to the ethical guidelines including confidentiality. Services are free to currently enrolled students.
