OCTH 622 Leadership and Management in Occupational Therapy
This course provides an overview of management and leadership styles, characteristics, and functions that foster collaboration and visionary thinking, that enable change for the occupational therapy health professional. Topics include team building and conflict resolution, organizational systems, budgeting, reimbursement, facility design, clinic maintenance, human resources, staffing patterns, policies and procedures, marketing, needs assessment, quality management, improvement strategies, risk management and program evaluation.
