OCTH 700 Professional and Contextual Issues in Occupational Therapy IV: Population Considerations
Students will expand and enhance their knowledge of various populations, diversity, cultural issues and the meaning of client-centered areas related to population. The relationship among the therapeutic use of self, cultural competence and the role of occupational therapy are analyzed within population contexts. Course content and experiential activities will allow students to better understand and identify the needs and theories that apply to program interventions aimed at diverse populations.
