Management and leadership styles, team building, conflict resolution, organizational systems, as well as supervisory and management roles (budgeting, reimbursement, facility design, clinic maintenance, human resources, staffing patterns, policies and procedures, marketing, needs assessment risk management and program evaluation) are studied and practiced. The role of mentorship, sociopolitical awareness, activism and lifelong learning in advancement of the profession are evaluated for implementation in clinical practice.
