BUAD 338 Training and Development Systems

This course is an introductory course in training and development. Students will learn the theories and applications of adult learning, design training programs and courses appropriate for different levels of employees, develop the curriculum and determine the appropriate training different methodology – in person, online, workshop, etc. while respecting the specific needs and interests of those being trained, and learn how to evaluate and improve training programs. In addition, students will learn the difference between training and development and learn how employee development must occur in organizations and the methods of doing this.
