DMSA 405 Clinical Anatomy

Exploration of cross-sectional anatomy in the human body with an emphasis on ventral body cavities and organs of sonographic interest. Pathogenesis of common disease processes and alteration of organ morphology and function will be discussed. Correlation of pertinent patient history, laboratory data, and imaging information will be emphasized to support development of analytical skills necessary for clinical practice. Emphasis will be placed on common pathologies encountered by the sonographer.
