FNCE 300 Principles of Finance

This course provides a rigorous introduction to the study of the basic concepts, theory, and principles in finance and their application to the usual financial issues and financial managerial decision-making of firms. Topics covered include the issues about financial environment and corporate taxes; an overview of financial markets and institutions; financial statement analysis; the time value of money; the risk and return analysis; the valuation process of securities (stock and bond); the cost of capital; and investment decision-making techniques.
