HIST 260 The History of Women in America

This course will explore the many ways that women participated in, and contributed to, the creation of our nation and its continued dynamism. This class will explore how women shaped the nation’s institutions, culture, government, society, and economy. Women’s status and opportunities will be explored in relation to economic, legal, political, and social factors.
