PLAW 345 Constitutional Law and Judicial Advocacy: Moot Court

This course is designed to introduce substantive and jurisdictional concepts of the United States Supreme Court, and techniques of appellate oral argument. Students will analyze a simulated court case before the United States Supreme Court, plus other set Supreme Court cases, and develop arguments for the petitioner and the respondent in the simulated case. Students will participate in a local, regional, or national moot court competition. This course is repeatable.
