Chemistry (CHEM)

It is important for students to be placed into a class commensurate with their abilities. As such, the Department of Physical Sciences has established guidelines for placement into general chemistry courses.

First-year students who have earned a satisfactory score on the AP Chemistry exam will be placed into the appropriate chemistry class as indicated in the guidelines for chemistry placement.
