Leadership Engagement

The Buford Center for Campus, Community, and Global Engagement plans and implements programming to help students develop and grow their individual leadership styles and skills. Educational workshops, guest speakers, classroom presentations, and other experiences are just some of the ways students are exposed to new leadership opportunities. The Buford Center for Campus, Community, and Global Engagement also hosts annual events like the Fall Leadership Retreat and Teaching Oilers Organizational Leadership (TOOL) series to help foster the growth of student leaders. Other opportunities include supporting students in leadership positions in the various clubs and student organizations across campus, as well as overseeing the Peer Mentor program.
