MBA 628 ISO 9000 and Lean Manufacturing

This in-depth dual course is designed to provide a basic orientation on the ISO 9000 series of quality standards for the management of quality and a comprehensive understanding of how Lean Manufacturing works in a manufacturing company. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to advance companies toward ISO 9000 compliance and registration. The course provides the student with lean implementation suggestions including approaches for addressing people issues, collecting and analyzing data to plan and track lean efforts, process workflow and layout options with rationale and a sequential roadmap.
