Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement Examinations of the College Entrance Examination Board are not required for admission, but it is possible to receive advanced standing and/or college credit by submitting the results of the Advanced Placement Examination. Credit and/or waiver may be given for grades of three or better upon evaluation by the appropriate college dean. In the case where Advanced Placement credit is needed to verify the completion of a graduate program prerequisite, it will be acceptable for a prior institution’s official transcript to be utilized to verify the completion of the Advanced Placement credit. The official transcript must clearly identify the graduate program prerequisite with the associated credit hours assigned by the accepting institution. If the official transcript only indicates a general listing of accepted Advanced Placement credit, an official score report from the College Entrance Examination Board will be required.
