COMM 251L Newswriting Lab
Students will practice journalistic skills learned in COMM 251L by researching, interviewing sources, and writing basic news stories that are targeted at the University audience. Types of assignments will parallel topics being covered in COMM 251 throughout the semester. Students will work with the instructor to establish story angles, interview preparation, writing methods, and deadlines. Students will spend a minimum of 50 hours working as a reporter for The Pulse.
