COMM 270 Film and Society

The aim of this course is to teach students a greater appreciation of the medium of film, to arm them with the knowledge to be informed consumers, producers, and/or critics of film, and to enable them to see the larger picture of how this artistic expression can convey meaning and context to fictional and non-fictional stories and events.
