FORS 340 Science and Justice in the Community

This course integrates knowledge from diverse STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) and human services fields. In this course, students will apply knowledge from their fields of student to engage local community members through exercises and activities that promote science and justice. For example, community engagement may take place in primary and secondary schools, children services agencies, or non-secular organizations. As part of this experiential learning, students will demonstrate mastery of a concept and reflect on their experiences. The course is repeatable for up to 12 semester hours.
