MTMH 418 Mycology: Didactic

This course is a study of the of the theoretical and technical aspects of the medically important fungi found in the clinical setting. Coursework during the didactic rotation includes lectures each on the following topics: micro and macroscopic morphology, taxonomy, culture techniques, superficial and cutaneous mycoses, subcutaneous mycoses, systemic mycoses, yeasts, and saprobic fungi.
