BIOL 236 Natural History and Conservation

Conservation is an interdisciplinary field focused on preservation of biological diversity and is approached with an intentional awareness of the natural world. This course provides an opportunity to observe and identify plants and animals in the field while also learning the threats to those species. Students will examine approaches used by biologists to balance human needs and protection of biological diversity.
