EDUC 211 Evaluating Human Impact on the Environment through Children’s and Early Adolescent Literature

This course will explore and analyze current environmental issues and human impact on the environment via literature created for children and early adolescent students. Concepts associated with environmental issues will be addressed and examined through the use of picture books and chapter books. Students will research proactive, practical steps to reduce their footprint which will be demonstrated through project-based learning objectives using science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) methodology.
