Wellness and Health Promotion BS
A
major in wellness and health promotion consists of an interdisciplinary program of study in which students will prepare to implement health assessments and wellness programs in internships. The degree endeavors to promote scholarly inquiry and cultivate professionals capable of assisting others in developing self-responsibility for their own health and wellness through healthy, active lifestyles. Completion of this degree prepares students for employment in corporate, clinical, or community wellness settings. It also prepares students for the pursuit of graduate studies, such as occupational therapy.

ANHS 484: up to six hours may be used for the elective requirement.
ANHS 485: three hours are required; up to two additional hours may be used for the elective requirement.
If completing the major with graduate work in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program (3+3 program), the bachelor's degree will be awarded after completion of the first year of the graduate -level course work. Students enrolled in the 3+3 program must complete a minimum of 102 undergraduate hours. Students wishing to enter University of Findlay’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program must also complete the prerequisites for admission into the graduate program prior to beginning the graduate curriculum.
