Student Health Insurance

The University of Findlay (UF) cares about the health and well-being of its students, particularly in the current public health environment. All full-time students (9 credit hours for graduate and 12 credit hours for undergraduate), and health professions students without regard to course load, are required to enroll in the student health insurance plan unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished.

UF has contracted with United Healthcare Student Resources (UHCSR) to provide an insurance policy for students who lack valid coverage. The University requires students to annually:

Enroll in the student health insurance plan

OR

Waive with valid alternative insurance coverage

Students who take no action will automatically be enrolled in the student health insurance plan after the waiver deadline.

For policy information, policy rates, and links to either enroll or waive, please visit: https://www.findlay.edu/offices/student-affairs/safety-wellness/student-health-insurance.

Please note, Safety & Wellness manages the Student Health Insurance process. Policy information, policy rates, and the links to either enroll or waive will become available to UF students annually on June 15.
