MTCC 414 Parasitology

Lectures cover life cycles, diagnostic morphology and pathology of human parasites. The course also emphasizes the detection and microscopic identification of diagnostic forms of parasites and detection of blood in fecal specimens. Upon completion of the lectures, exams, and laboratory exercises, the student will summarize and compare clinically significant parasites and the ability to perform methods used in their detection and identification.
