MTCC 451 Chemistry I

Lectures cover the biochemistry and normal and abnormal physiology of various classes of chemicals. A survey of laboratory methods used to measure various classes of chemicals, their interpretation and clinical application is included. Upon completion of the lectures, exams, and laboratory exercises, the student will be able to describe the biochemistry, physiology, and measurement of various classes of chemicals and explain how to interpret and correlate the laboratory test results.
