PHAR 415 Introduction to Functional Medicine

Functional medicine is a systems-based approach to correcting underlying causes of chronic disease. This course will introduce functional medicine and its tenets and how this can be applied to pharmacy, resulting in functional pharmacy. The students will discuss complementary approaches backed by science that aid in combatting chronic disease.
