EDUC 347 Assessment and Intervention

This course develops an understanding of issues and specific skills related to assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation of students. Developmentally appropriate formal and informal assessment methods will be discussed with opportunities for field-based experience that allow students to apply their knowledge of child development by interpretation of observational data. Interpretation of assessment results and the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other instructional and behavioral interventions are included.
